We had about 17 trees on a property that we needed to know the health of the trees. George was helpful online answering questions we had. But Jack, the owner, came out to evaluate the trees and confirmed that the trees were alive and not dead. Jack was very knowledgeable of trees and answered many questions I had. Did not rush the visit! Even though we did not use their services for tree removal or pruning, I was so impressed with their free evaluation - that I had to review them. Awards from Angie's list were very impressive also. Recommended due to this visit.

A microburst or small tornado leveled about half an acre of big trees on our property. TIMBERWORKS did a very thorough and professional job trimming damaged trees and removing downed ones. We recommend them highly and will use them again.

Excellent, timely, responsive service, taking down a very large, tricky tree (rotting from the inside), on a tight schedule in a confined space. Well and safely executed, highly professional from start to finish. Everything came down as planned, excellent clean up, and the team chipped branches and leaves for us to use as mulch. Really, really good job.

I can’t express enough the professionalism of the team at Timber Works Tree care. From the first day I met with Mac to go over the options, the professional advice, the emails with the office team and finally the team itself that arrived on time as stated to remove the three dead trees, four other trees; including ones for my neighbor. All of which were in a shared back yard with limited access.The removal team was safety oriented, fast, had great communication with all my neighbors and did an amazing job. They took care to do as little damage as possible to my neighbor’s yard, cleaned up more that I expected and was done and out before we knew it.I highly recommend calling them for you tree removal and other tree care needs. Their prices for 8 trees, that were 60’ in height, totaled less than another company’s quote for just two trees. Adding to this, all our emails and calls were answered through out the whole process in less than 48 hours.To everyone at Timber Works; thank you so much. I could not be happier with the work done today.

We had extensive work needed on a large number of trees on a five-acre property. From the first visit to give us a quote for the work to the final day of the work everyone on the Timber Works team was capable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The team that came to do the work was careful about not damaging our existing yard, flowers, trees, shrubs, buildings, etc as they did some pretty complicated tree removal and trimming tasks around the yard. They were thorough with clean-up. Ben, the team leader, was responsive to all our requests and did a walk through with me at the beginning of the work and when the work was completed. I plan on using them again for any work needed in the future.

Great service from the company. We had an arborist come out first to evaluate the property and then had Timber Works come out and evaluate and both had the same recommendations. Timber Works actually identified a cluster of trees that didn't outwardly look like it had any issues, but was very clearly rotted on the inside once it was taken down.The work crew showed up on time with all of the equipment and personnel necessary to take down the identified trees. Everyone was extremely conscientious of making sure that no property was damaged during their operations.Very communicative from the first step through scheduling and then the actual tree removal. Followed up immediately with emails to make sure we were happy with the service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tree company. They ended up taking down 8 trees and doing some cabling on some existing trees to keep as much as the forest preserves as possible, so it was not a small job.

Timber Works did an amazing job clearing the majority of 1/2 an acre for us, while leaving the trees we still wanted intact. They were quick to respond and get us on the schedule, which we greatly appreciate so we can get things planted before the hot months of summer. They also provided helpful information on which trees/plants to keep and which were invasive and bad for the area. I would definitely recommend this company for any of your timber needs!

Timber Works showed up on time, were polite, curteous and thoroughly reviewed expecations. I believe they went above and beyond in pruning my trees - being aware of potential issues and bringing them to my attention for input on how to proceed. But more than anything I was very impressed by their cleanup. They left nothing behind. To me that is something very, very important and speaks to the high level of professionalism and care.

Timber Works Tree Care is THE choice for any tree related service in the VA region. Not only did they do a great job, everyone in the company is extremely responsive and very professional. They go above and beyond, coming out first to do a walk through and talking through everything and then you get a very detailed online estimate which allows you to ensure all your project needs are covered. They were prompt and checked in with us throughout the project to make sure we were happy with the work. The billing is very transparent and all online and very easy to use. Honestly I'm just blown away with how easy they are to work with, how responsible the prices were, and how quick they worked. We are repeat customers already and will definitely use them again. Again I can't recommend them enough. The project in the picture below was done over just 2 days! Thanks again Timber Works!

Timber Works did an excellent job of cutting limbs and trimming trees. Jack the owner gave great recommendations on which trees needed to be taken care of.They were on time, very careful climbing, removing limbs and making sure they cleaned up and took care of the limbs and sticks, etc. The five men also used leaf blowers to leave the job in great shape.They have wonderful equipment and are respectful of one another in completing the job.I highly recommend them.

My husband and I recently hired Timber Works to do some pretty substantial work on our property. Over two days, they removed a lot of dead trees, cleared several large areas of brush, removed a number of large tree stumps, trimmed many trees of low hanging and dead limbs. Their work greatly improved the appearance of our property. The men worked efficiently and steadily throughout both days and were very polite and responsive to our questions. We look forward to having them back as needed in the future.

All I can say is that my experience rivals that of all of the other reviewers. The level of professionalism from Timber Works is as high as you'll find, anywhere. Jack the owner met me to run over what I wanted to accomplish with clearing a piece of raw land down along the Shenandoah. He was early, incredibly professional, nice, and totally made my decision as to who I wanted to do this work. I could not be happier with my decision. Frank showed up to forestry mulch approximately an acre of land that was completely overgrown and included a number of large felled trees. You could barely walk the property at first, and when Frank was done I was amazed at the difference! Frank was also incredibly professional, pleasant to work with, and extremely accommodating to my requests. I HIGHLY recommend Timber Works. I couldn't imagine even considering working with another company at this point. Save yourself the time, headache, and energy-use them. They are fair in price, and do amazing work.

These guys exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Even though it was an hours drive for them they were there early. They worked their tails off all day and left the place looking better than how they found it. This was not a job where they had to just remove one tree, they transformed my entire property. They left me with a beautiful pile of rounds for firewood that were cut at 16” to accommodate my wood stove. They also left me a nice pile of logs which I had turned into lumber. They were careful not to drag them through the mud and rocks to make my life easier during the sawing process. Could not be happier with their work!!

If you want it done right, use Timber Works. They might be high on cost than the other guys, but you will get your money worth. Was really impressed with their equipment use, it was top of the line for function and safety. I had about a 100 ft tree removal done, only 4 hours later it was gone, even the stump. Again, these guys are tops in the tree service industry.

Using Timber Works Tree Care for removal of several trees was a great experience. They were professional from the first call to final invoice. Everything detailed, no surprises, and they left the yard looking like they had never been there. I couldn't have asked for better service. Tree work is expensive, so pricing was high...but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for quality work done safely and professionally, then call Timber Works.

Second time for great service with Timber Works!! Frank did a fabulous job with forest mulching that included several major downed trees and tackling bamboo that had run rampant. He quickly ascertained what our goals were and even accomplished a task that we had planned for the next visit - all with a super end result. Kudo's for the work ethic and professionalism! Timber Works is our "go to", for sure.We will definitely be calling Timber Works for future tree service. They are professional and highly skilled - impressive! The crew arrived on time - cut 50 tree trunks (from construction clearing) into the size we wanted, and chipped the soft woods. Great mulch piles, right where we specified. They also cleared/forest mulched/shredded a huge pile of tree debris from construction clearing and worked it until the area looked clean and ready to regenerate. Fantastic crew, clearly work with safety in mind, hard working. Highly recommend.

This was our first engagement with Timber Works of Front Royal, Virginia. Timber Works was recommended to me by my USNA/Navy classmate who lives nearby in Bentonville - we are both retired military families with more than 70 years of service between the two of us.By far the best people we have ever worked with, we love this team! Timber Works showed outstanding leadership and teamwork; consummate professionalism; acute awareness of performing extreme safety measures in an incredibly dangerous environment; thoroughness and site cleanliness; and an ultra-patriotic and strong work ethic for every man on the team are the hallmarks of Timber Works' success as the best tree service crew we have ever worked with. From the first estimating engagement with the owner, to having the Timber Works teams out for this job was the best investment we've made on this property, they cleared dead and dying trees that were close to falling on the house and on other structures. The team rose to the challenge in a difficult forest hill terrain, and cut and segmented and stacked all 15 trees (except 3 or 4) into firewood size sections. From the moment they set foot on the property, they hit the deck plates running, cleanly and efficiently working together and completing the job in record time. What I noticed most was the teamwork, precision, and safety; with every man handling a specific job and executed flawlessly under the guidance and direction of the team lead. This is a tough group of professionals who I would take down range with me any day into the worst conditions!The same thing happened on the second day with the tree tech who came out to run the large forestry mulcher down through the forest to the creek's edge creating a path for us to be able to bring our veteran warrior friends and our greater military family down to what is now a safe and peaceful place. He was quick, professional, and very knowledgeable in how to weave a path through our forest that accomplished our goals while still maintaining a high level of forest ecosystem conservation.I was also very impressed and humbled with the Timber Works Team's interest and appreciation for our military service. Our property and buildings will be safer now for hosting our military brothers and sisters, and their families – particularly Gold Star families. And in the days since the Timber Works teams were here to complete these two jobs, I have had the pleasure to run into several of the crew members out and about in our Fort Valley and Front Royal community, either in person or riding by in vehicles, always willing to give a shout out of thanks to our military! We definitely will have Timber Works back out to our place in the near term to cut down a few more trees and help with path building. We remain thankful by everything you all did for us! Removed a large oak tree in a matter of about 2 hours. Tree was located in a hard to reach location and was close to a main road. They also saved all the smaller trees around it.

Hired to do timber mulching about an acre of land. Also, to clear overgrowth around our vacation home to open up the property. All was done very efficiently. We hired them for two days and all the work needed was completed. Ben is an amazing individual who listened to our requests and did them with a smile. Also very personable. We had a tree from our yard fall on our neighbors house shortly after we moved in. They cam super quickly and did a fantastic job. The dirt spot in the yard was the only reminder there had been a tree previously. We since had them back to remove a stump and again, they were so responsive, polite and their clean up was impeccable. We also asked them to do a walk around the property (fairly wooded) and give us input on the trees we had some questions and concerns about. Fantastic company and fully insured which is important.

From when Jack the owner came to our home to give us a quote, to Joe at the office who coordinated things efficiently, to the whole team who came out and did a solid, clean, safe, and thorough job removing trees and stumps, I was completely satisfied with my experience. I am so happy with the job Timber Works did at my farm. At the outset, Jack came to meet with my son and me to go over the tree clearing, mulching, and stump-grinding we needed done on about 1 1/2 acres, which included a hillside; and Ben and his crew carried it out wonderfully and completely, and I now have my beautiful view back!! Timber Works, in conjunction with Arborist's Touch, have a program to donate their services to Veterans in the area. As a disabled VET, I was given this donation of cutting down a few of my trees which were old and have split already a few times. They were fantastic and very professional and helped this old VET out. Timber Works is a wonderful company with great employees and I highly recommend them!!

Jack and his crew are top notch professionals who can be trusted to get the job done right. We had an old large cherry tree right next to our house that was beginning to become a concern due to it's age and proximity to our bedrooms. Jack's crew took the tree down for us quickly, and more importantly, without a single branch hitting our home even though it had a few large branches overhanging our house. The crew was on time, communicated well, and completed the job faster than I anticipated. I definitely recommend Timber Works Tree Care! Thanks guys!

11.01.20My husband and I hired Timber Works to clear 3.5 acres of thick woods for a horse pasture. We couldn't have been happier! Jack and his team were on time, very professional, and did a fantastic job! I am so glad we choose his company for our project. I would difffently recommend Timber Works to all who need tree work done! We would give them more than 5 stars if we could.
