Very professional and hardworking! I had Timber Works come out and clear an acre of heavily wooded land in the mountains of Shenandoah. The operator that performed the work got out of the machine once in 8-hours to grease and blow out the radiator. He worked almost continuously until the job was complete.The operator asked what I needed when he arrived and ensured that the areas I needed cleared were cleared while ensuring the areas I wanted to leave trees were left. The finished product was a finely ground mulch deck which was perfect for what I needed. The operator even worked around debris found during clearing and pulled it out into the open so I would have an easier time picking it up.I will be using Timber Works for land clearing needs moving forward. This was an excellent company to work with from start to finish. We bought a new house with a lot of trees and were able to get Mac out before we moved in to assess the trees and give us recommendations for pruning and removal. We got an estimate the same day and were able to schedule the same week. We had six trees removed and the rest of the trees pruned and thinned. The guys were efficient and left the property clean. Entire process, from estimate to finish, was just excellent! The job was to remove 8 large dead/dying trees (with 2 largest near house), forest mulch roughly an acre of fairly dense young trees, clear brush from near house and along ~500’ long driveway, etc. The Timber Works team was equipped with the equipment and skills needed to do the job both safely and efficiently. And, in addition to this, and being careful not to damage anything (eg, house, well, septic field), they were also very professional, courteous, and fast (~4.5hrs). TW earned my future business.

We are so pleased with Timberworks' service and highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.We moved to a new property with what appeared to be a large dying maple in the yard. We first had Timberworks out to consult and give us an estimate. I appreciated the time they took to assess the dying tree, check other trees on our property, and even the advice to first see if our power company would cut back the tree because of its proximity to their lines.We weren't quite ready to pay for the project, but Timberworks reached out a few months later just to check on us as they were doing work in our area. We were ready this time! After seeing the crew in action, I don't think we could have hired a better company.The crew arrived early with perfect equipment for our job site (somewhat narrow access) that looked as well taken care of as all their safety gear. Because my young children were enthralled by the machinery, we watched most of the project, and we got to see everyone working seamlessly and efficiently to carefully dissect the tree without damaging anything. It was an awesome example for my kids to see. They cleaned up the site beyond what I expected and left us a beautiful pile of wood chips for our garden. On the way out, one of the crew noticed a shrub stump I'd been working on removing on my own and offered to yank it out. He managed that in about 30 seconds! I got three bids to remove an Oklahoma Redbud from my front yard. Timber Works was actually the lowest by far, which initially made me a little leery because the other two were fairly close. After meeting Jack, the owner, it sealed the deal. He told me the price up front, looked me in the eye and gave me a firm handshake. He recognized the importance of removing branches for a healthier tree rather than “topping off” as another less experienced company suggested. Timber Works removed several trees from our yard. They did an excellent job, were pleasant, professional, and hard working. They cleaned up all brush, stacked wood as requested, and did all work quickly and efficiently. I am having them do more work in the yard this Fall.

These guys are AWESOME! They are quick & and very honest. They do an excellent job, way above & beyond their service. They rake, sweep, and pick up all extra branches from your yard. They are quick and can remove a tree w/in an hour. Very price competitive. Definitely will use again for our needs. Great group of friendly guys!
