I had two trees taken out by Timber Works and one was a delicate operation. It's the biggest tree in my yard by far and the center of the tree was rotted out. If it fell, it would have crossed the road and taken out the power lines to boot. They got it cut no problem but then they had to deal with the stump. The tree was adjoined to the tree next to it at the base but when it got cut down we discovered there was a tap root running from the good tree right into the rotted tree and it was clearly alive and well. So, they delicately ground the stump down getting enough of it so that I could fill the rot hole and cover everything with mulch leaving the tap root unscathed. Great job and everyone I talked to was pleasant. I 100% recommend Timber Works!

I had a fairly complex situation as my backyard was not easily accessible to bring any equipment in, but that was no problem for this team as they had all the right equipment and a plan. Very professional and hardworking! I had Timber Works come out and clear an acre of heavily wooded land in the mountains of Shenandoah. The operator that performed the work got out of the machine once in 8-hours to grease and blow out the radiator. He worked almost continuously until the job was complete.The operator asked what I needed when he arrived and ensured that the areas I needed cleared were cleared while ensuring the areas I wanted to leave trees were left. The finished product was a finely ground mulch deck which was perfect for what I needed. The operator even worked around debris found during clearing and pulled it out into the open so I would have an easier time picking it up.I will be using Timber Works for land clearing needs moving forward. Very professional, prompt and courteous.They removed dead and conflicting branches on our three ornamental cheery trees. Removed a Leland Cypress that was over grown. They clearly take pride in their work and the crew led by Forman Ben showed up early and stayed until the job was done. We had 7 large trees over and around our house removed. We first had Timberworks out to consult and give us an estimate. I appreciated the time they took to assess the dying tree, check other trees on our property, and even the advice to first see if our power company would cut back the tree because of its proximity to their lines.We weren't quite ready to pay for the project, but Timberworks reached out a few months later just to check on us as they were doing work in our area. We were ready this time! After seeing the crew in action, I don't think we could have hired a better company.The crew arrived early with perfect equipment for our job site (somewhat narrow access) that looked as well taken care of as all their safety gear. Because my young children were enthralled by the machinery, we watched most of the project, and we got to see everyone working seamlessly and efficiently to carefully dissect the tree without damaging anything. It was an awesome example for my kids to see. They cleaned up the site beyond what I expected and left us a beautiful pile of wood chips for our garden. On the way out, one of the crew noticed a shrub stump I'd been working on removing on my own and offered to yank it out. He managed that in about 30 seconds! Timber Works trimmed/removed overgrown branches on three trees in my yard. It was obvious they know their business from the moment a representative came by to give an estimate on the work I needed. He recognized the importance of removing branches for a healthier tree rather than “topping off” as another less experienced company suggested. Their estimate was also significantly less than the other company. Work was performed exactly as promised and my yard was cleaned of all debris. I will definitely call on them again in the future.
