Forestry Mulching Technician

Timber Works Tree Care is open to hiring a Forestry Mulching Technician. We are located in Front Royal Va.
Job Requirements
- Proficient skid steer operator with forestry mulching experience.
- Valid CDL required.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to take direction and make good decisions in the field.
- Previous land clearing, forestry, excavation, or heavy equipment experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate forestry mulcher and skid steer safely and efficiently.
- Perform forestry mulching, brush removal, and land-clearing work.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Communicate professionally with customers while on job sites.
- Provide regular updates and report job progress directly to Operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Assist with other land-clearing duties as needed.
Preferred:
- CDL License
- Technical background, basic knowledge or experience in working on trucks and equipment.

Days begin with meeting at the shop at 7 am and most days crews are back to the shop by 3-4 pm. We offer W2 employment with a direct deposit. All employees wear PPE and are covered under Work Comp policy. Terms of pay depend upon skill.
