Job Requirements
- Have previous work experience (preferred).
- Be able to communicate well with co-workers and clients.
- Be drug-free
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to work 5 days a week.
- Have a passion for Arboriculture, professionalism, and a good work ethic.

Days begin with meeting at the shop at 7 am and most days crews are back to the shop by 3-4 pm. We offer W2 employment with a direct deposit. All employees wear PPE and are covered under Work Comp policy. Terms of pay depend upon skill.

I had two trees taken out by Timber Works and one was a delicate operation. It's the biggest tree in my yard by far and the center of the tree was rotted out. If it fell, it would have crossed the road and taken out the power lines to boot. They got it cut no problem but then they had to deal with the stump. The tree was adjoined to the tree next to it at the base but when it got cut down we discovered there was a tap root running from the good tree right into the rotted tree and it was clearly alive and well. So, they delicately ground the stump down getting enough of it so that I could fill the rot hole and cover everything with mulch leaving the tap root unscathed. Great job and everyone I talked to was pleasant. I 100% recommend Timber Works!

Everyone was professional and easy to work with from Mary in the office to Ben on the jobsite. These people really enjoy what they do and you can tell! Their equipment is top of the line too. This was the second team we’ve had at our house, and like the first team, these guys were so, so good and super polite.JR and the rest of the team Keoni, Ryan, and Justin were just amazing. JR started by reviewing our work order, asking us how high we wanted the foliage to be off the ground, and explained to us their recommendations. We watched from our windows and were so impressed at how deliberate they were at deciding which branches to cut to meet our desired expectations. It was so interesting to watch them use their various tools and machines, like their spider cherry picker! I can’t express enough how much it means to us to meet young adults who do such wonderful work and who were so very polite and respectful. Timber Works is the way to go for any tree removal you may need! Jack, the owner himself, came out to do the estimate and gave me a fair run down and cost of the job. I had a fairly complex situation as my backyard was not easily accessible to bring any equipment in, but that was no problem for this team as they had all the right equipment and a plan. The guys showed up on time and made quick work of taking down two trees that were in a very tight spot near my house in the front and back. That didn't stop the expert team of guys from carefully taking them down piece by piece making it look easy. Overall, I highly recommend Timber Works for their skill and professionalism.

Very professional and hardworking! I had Timber Works come out and clear an acre of heavily wooded land in the mountains of Shenandoah. The operator that performed the work got out of the machine once in 8-hours to grease and blow out the radiator. He worked almost continuously until the job was complete.The operator asked what I needed when he arrived and ensured that the areas I needed cleared were cleared while ensuring the areas I wanted to leave trees were left. The finished product was a finely ground mulch deck which was perfect for what I needed. The operator even worked around debris found during clearing and pulled it out into the open so I would have an easier time picking it up.I will be using Timber Works for land clearing needs moving forward. Very professional, prompt and courteous.They removed dead and conflicting branches on our three ornamental cheery trees. Removed a Leland Cypress that was over grown. Cut the bottom of vines on several trees to help kill the vines. Not just cutting them but cutting them back down to the ground. They cleaned everything up and left like they were never there. These guys are AWESOME! They are quick & and very honest. They do an excellent job, way above & beyond their service. They rake, sweep, and pick up all extra branches from your yard.
