What is Brush Mulching

Brush mulching is a form of forestry mulching, with the mulcher we can shred, grind, and remove trees and brush up to 8 inches in diameter. If you have land that is covered with the brush then brush mulching is the way to go.

At Timber Works, we can use our brush mulching machine to clear all the unwanted brush from your property! This is very beneficial for overgrown invasives, small trees, and large areas of brush! Our brush mulching machine will turn all the unwanted brush into mulch in minutes. This takes your unwanted plants that could be hurting your trees and turns them into mulch that provides nutrients for your trees!

I just received a cord of firewood and wanted to commend Timber Works on an overall excellent experience.I first contacted them last year but was too late to receive any firewood for the season. They offered to put me on their mailing list and they promptly called me this season to ask if I was still interested.I ordered one full cord and set a date for delivery that fit my schedule. They arrived on-time with a full cord and the delivery driver was very good, conscientious and observant, and navigated my narrow and difficult driveway with ease.I am very pleased with the quantity and quality of the wood and the fact that it also included ample kindling. Working with Timber Works was in a word AWESOME. They did exactly what we wanted. The crew was impressive along with their equipment. Very professional, prompt and courteous.They removed dead and conflicting branches on our three ornamental cheery trees. Removed a Leland Cypress that was over grown. Cut the bottom of vines on several trees to help kill the vines. Not just cutting them but cutting them back down to the ground. They cleaned everything up and left like they were never there. From the initial estimate with Mac all the way until the last tree hit the ground, these guys were fantastic. It’s amazing to see a crew work with such cohesion. They clearly take pride in their work and the crew led by Forman Ben showed up early and stayed until the job was done. We had 7 large trees over and around our house removed. Timber Works Tree Care is the most professional and best tree contractor I have contracted with over my 40yrs of home ownership. The are responsive, friendly, organized and do excellent work! From the first phone call through the estimate, scheduling, execution and cleanup they were prompt, attentive and easy to work with. Our job for them was to fell four mature trees about 50ft tall, remove all debris, grind the four stumps and remove a nearby brush pile in our yard. I figured it was likely an all-day job. Well, they sent three people with a chipper, a brush hauler, and a stump grinder. Ryan, Sean, and Ben got the job done in 3.5hrs!! Plus, they wore helmets with face shields and built-in ear protection/radio w/ mics so that they could work safely and efficiently together. Did I mention the price was reasonable, too?! The whole thing was so smooth I almost wish I had more work for them! And we certainly will go to them fist for any future tree-related needs. Thank you, Timber Works!

Great service from the company. We had an arborist come out first to evaluate the property and then had Timber Works come out and evaluate and both had the same recommendations. Timber Works actually identified a cluster of trees that didn't outwardly look like it had any issues, but was very clearly rotted on the inside once it was taken down.The work crew showed up on time with all of the equipment and personnel necessary to take down the identified trees. Everyone was extremely conscientious of making sure that no property was damaged during their operations.Very communicative from the first step through scheduling and then the actual tree removal. Followed up immediately with emails to make sure we were happy with the service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tree company. They ended up taking down 8 trees and doing some cabling on some existing trees to keep as much as the forest preserves as possible, so it was not a small job.

Our HOA (Frederick Woods) used TimberWorks to cut and remove 7 sizable trees. They also ground the stumps. In addition, we had them clear both sides of a drainage swale for several hundred feet. I can’t express enough the professionalism of the team at Timber Works Tree care. From the first day I met with Mac to go over the options, the professional advice, the emails with the office team and finally the team itself that arrived on time as stated to remove the three dead trees, four other trees; including ones for my neighbor. The removal team was safety oriented, fast, had great communication with all my neighbors and did an amazing job. They took care to do as little damage as possible to my neighbor’s yard, cleaned up more that I expected and was done and out before we knew it.

These guys are AWESOME! They are quick & and very honest. They do an excellent job, way above & beyond their service. They rake, sweep, and pick up all extra branches from your yard.
