Timber Works Tree Care is proud to announce that we won the Angie’s List Super Service Award for 2017!

Our tree service and tree removal team is dedicated to top-quality service and customer-focused care. We’re hardworking, experienced professionals well versed in tree care. We care about our customers, your trees, and your property. And, each job in 2017 has been a chance to show you our great attitudes, strong work ethic, and a desire to meet and exceed every customer’s expectations!

We reward service providers with the annual Super Service Award for outstanding service during the year. This is different than Angie’s List certification.

(1) Angie’s List Certification: Angie’s List Certified Service Providers are paying to advertise their services and discounts to Members and to appear above non-participating service providers in default search results. Those service providers need to meet our standards of certification, which include:

• Passing an annual criminal background check of the owner or relevant manager;

• Remaining in good business standing with Angie’s List;

• Maintaining an overall member rating of A or B;

• Attesting that they have the proper licensing to perform listed work; and

• Maintaining a company-verified profile page.

(2) Super Service Award Badge

Both Angie’s List Certified Service Providers and non-participating service providers can win the Super Service Award. For service providers who win the Super Service Award, a badge displays next to their company name on their profile page. For Angie’s List Certified Providers who win the Super Service Award, the badge will also appear on the search results page.

A service provider must meet the below minimum criteria to be considered for this award. In the past, many eligible service providers exceeded the minimum criteria.

Minimum eligibility requirements for the Super Service Award:

• Maintain an “A” rating in each of the following areas:

› Overall grade, an average of all reviews.

› Recent grade, an average of category reviews from last 3 years

› Review period grade, an average of category reviews from Nov.1st of the previous year – Oct. 31 of the current year

• For example, reviews from Nov. 1, 2015 – Oct. 31, 2016 will count for the 2016 Super Service Award

• Good business standing with Angie’s List

• Have at least 3 reviews where the member has indicated that services were performed

Award Requirement:

Additionally, to claim the award, eligible service providers must meet the minimum credential requirements.

From the initial estimate with Mac all the way until the last tree hit the ground, these guys were fantastic. It’s amazing to see a crew work with such cohesion. They clearly take pride in their work and the crew led by Forman Ben showed up early and stayed until the job was done. We had 7 large trees over and around our house removed. The tactful approach between John 80’ up in the lift, Ben operating the crane, and the rest of the crew was exceptional. They exemplify what a team is and how it should work. They have all the best equipment and work with incredible cohesion. More importantly, these men showed up with a great attitude and work ethic and got the job done safely and extremely efficiently. Timber Works Tree Care is the most professional and best tree contractor I have contracted with over my 40yrs of home ownership. The are responsive, friendly, organized and do excellent work! From the first phone call through the estimate, scheduling, execution and cleanup they were prompt, attentive and easy to work with. Our job for them was to fell four mature trees about 50ft tall, remove all debris, grind the four stumps and remove a nearby brush pile in our yard. I figured it was likely an all-day job. Well, they sent three people with a chipper, a brush hauler, and a stump grinder. Ryan, Sean, and Ben got the job done in 3.5hrs!! Plus, they wore helmets with face shields and built-in ear protection/radio w/ mics so that they could work safely and efficiently together. Did I mention the price was reasonable, too?! The whole thing was so smooth I almost wish I had more work for them! And we certainly will go to them fist for any future tree-related needs. Thank you, Timber Works!

Great service from the company. We had an arborist come out first to evaluate the property and then had Timber Works come out and evaluate and both had the same recommendations. Timber Works actually identified a cluster of trees that didn't outwardly look like it had any issues, but was very clearly rotted on the inside once it was taken down.The work crew showed up on time with all of the equipment and personnel necessary to take down the identified trees. Everyone was extremely conscientious of making sure that no property was damaged during their operations.Very communicative from the first step through scheduling and then the actual tree removal. Followed up immediately with emails to make sure we were happy with the service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tree company. They ended up taking down 8 trees and doing some cabling on some existing trees to keep as much as the forest preserves as possible, so it was not a small job.

This 2nd trip, we had them remove a very old, extremely tall tree overhanging our shed. It was a very dangerous and tricky job as the shed is adjacent to a very deep crevasse. We bought a new house with a lot of trees and were able to get Mac out before we moved in to assess the trees and give us recommendations for pruning and removal. We got an estimate the same day and were able to schedule the same week. We had six trees removed and the rest of the trees pruned and thinned. The guys were efficient and left the property clean. Had enough confidence in them to call them back. Our HOA (Frederick Woods) used TimberWorks to cut and remove 7 sizable trees. They also ground the stumps. In addition, we had them clear both sides of a drainage swale for several hundred feet. It was thick with mature brush. We then these guys show up it's a tree removal army. They show up with all the equipment needed to do the job and plenty of manpower. I can’t express enough the professionalism of the team at Timber Works Tree care. From the first day I met with Mac to go over the options, the professional advice, the emails with the office team and finally the team itself that arrived on time as stated to remove the three dead trees, four other trees; including ones for my neighbor. The removal team was safety oriented, fast, had great communication with all my neighbors and did an amazing job. They took care to do as little damage as possible to my neighbor’s yard, cleaned up more that I expected and was done and out before we knew it.
